Workers Compensation and Employer’s Liability

Mind the compulsory insurance

In Bulgaria, Workers Compensation insurance with 7x gross annual salary minimum sum insured is compulsory for business activities with work-related accident ratio equal to or higher than the average for this country. 

Employer’s Liability is not compulsory insurance, but the employment regulation imposes strict liability on the employers, including for accidents caused by force majeure.
